SERRAMONTE FORD CELEBRATES 50 YEARS!

 Commemorating a Half-Century of Ford Sales, Service and Supporting the Community 

COLMA, CA – This month, Serramonte Ford is celebrating its 50th anniversary of business from its location at 999 Serramonte Blvd. in Colma. In celebration of this achievement, the dealership is acknowledging those who are responsible for that longevity announcing its recommitment to the future.

“Of course, we start by thanking every one of our customers over the last 50 years who contributed to the success we celebrate today,” said Matt Shone, General Manager of Serramonte Ford. “Additionally, we are indebted to the Ford Motor Company for 50 years of excellent and innovative products, such as the re-designed Bronco family of SUVs, the Mustang Mach-E EV, the 2022 hybrid Maverick light truck, the totally electric F-150 Ford Lightning.” 

In the Beginning

Serramonte Ford was founded by the Verducci Family in 1971. Led by Frank Verducci, Sr., the dealership was extremely popular and well known for its commitment to service excellence. The Verduccis lay the groundwork for the tradition of automotive excellence and an express commitment to supporting its community. 

Today, the dealership is owned by the Berkshire Hathaway Corporation whose high enterprise standards and business acumen have fueled continued growth for Serramonte Ford while allowing the dealership to maintain its own unique values. Although ownership of the dealership has changed over the years, the traditions and commitment remain, with Serramonte Ford being a staunch supporter of local schools, community groups and other non-profit organizations.

As Serramonte Ford begins its second 50 years, the organization expresses particular gratitude to its community.
