SHELTER IN PLACE, THE SEQUEL

 

The good news, a vaccine is FINALLY being distributed. The bad news... as you know, all of us in the Bay Area are back under modified Shelter in Place restrictions. 

Please, please, please take care of yourselves. Hospitals ICU units are filled to capacity. And we want everyone to stay safe and NOT become a statistic.

That being said, the entire team at Castro Car Guy knows that the end of the year is an extremely critical time for many of you when it comes to automotive need.

• Many people have waited until now to shop for a new vehicle because they are looking for end of year special offers
• At the same time, people shopping for great used car deals were waiting to see what After Thanksgiving Day trade-ins look like
• Businesses are looking to use budget now to position themselves to make the most of their spending dollars before December 31st
•  A lot of people also get their vehicle checked and serviced at ear end to prepare for the New Year, challenging winter weather and to take advantage of down time before the holidays are over
• And finally, something may just happen now that forces you to look for another reliable new or used vehicle during December

You don't have to worry. At Serramonte Ford, where I have my office, our showroom has always been kept under the necessary COVID-19 protocols since the inception of the pandemic orders in March.  During this current situation, we have been required to stay under 25% capacity in our showroom, but our business never gets over that level even under normal non-pandemic circumstances.  So shopping for a new or used vehicle is as easy as it has been throughout the past months.

Ford has extended all it's Year End lease and purchase offers on new vehicles so they started the first week of December so you don't have to all come on a certain day to get the best deals possible. There is no need to wait until the last week of the year to save big! And, if you are looking for a particular Ford vehicle and you don't see it online in our inventory. Give me a call!  We can look for the vehicle you want and see if we can get it transferred to our dealership for you. The same goes for used vehicles. Finally, our service department is open during normal business hours, and we are seeing more and more people taking advantage of holiday down time to maintain their vehicles so they can rely on them as the rains have started to come.
