Car Repair is an Essential Service

In case you weren't sure if you could get your vehicle serviced during the "Shelter in Place" order for the San Francisco Bay Area, you don't have to worry. Car repair is considered an "Essential Service" and the dealership I work at, Serramonte Ford is open during regular hours to service your car, truck, van or SUV. There are many reasons why it's a good idea to make sure your vehicle is in top condition.

  • In case you have to drive in an emergency.
  • Lyft and Uber is not accessible, so options during this time is limited.
  • Mass transit options are not always an easy option if you want to maintain Social Distancing rules.
  • If your business is temporarily shut down or working reduced hours, it's an excellent time to get maintenance done on your vehicle so you won't have to suffer downtime when your business is busy again.
To make an appointment online, you can click here. Serramonte Ford is the Ford Dealership for the City of San Francisco and the upper Peninsula, and is less than 12 miles from anywhere in the city. And, right now the traffic patterns make it an easy drive to come to 999 Serramonte Blvd. in Colma.

On top of that, Serramonte Ford is a proud supporter of the LGBT Community, a partner of Michelle Meow, and where you can find me during my workdays. So, if you find yourself needing auto repairs or maintenance now, you do have somewhere you can go to.

  2. Yes you can! The service and parts departments at Serramonte Ford are open 7:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday and 7:00 am to 5:30 pm on Saturday. It's a great idea to make sure your maintenance is up to date on your work vehicles so they will be up and running should there be an emergency. Or, if your business is slow or closed right now because of the Shelter in Place Order, it's a great time to get this work done now so you won't waste time when your business is in full swing again.
